About the Liaison Committee

The Liaison Committee was authorized by the Monitoring and Assessment Task Force (MATF) at its July 1999 meeting. The Liaison Committee will serve as a strategic planning group to the MATF and will make recommendations on how to advance ROMA activities and outcomes among local community action agencies, state agencies and associations.

Initial Focus

• Developing a five year plan to install ROMA across the entire community service network, including a "roll-out" strategy of having an initial 15 States achieve ROMA implementation among 80% of their local agencies;
• In support of the above, creating a ROMA training strategy that meets the initial needs of 20 States in the first year, all States by the end of five years.
