| Brief Description of the
Project |
This grant will enable Virginia to involve the
entire Community Action Network in furthering the capacity of the CAA to deliver and
manage services to low income people by developing and implementing peer monitoring
replicating successful demonstration project; and continuing outcome measures and fiscal
work groups. These pilot projects are being supported to look at community and family
matrices. The State CSBG application and report packages are being revised and
introductory training on ROMA and return-on- investments is being conducted. |

Project |
This grant will continue the work started under
a pilot project to provide outcome based measurement training and to pilot an experiment
with matrices with the Community Services Network in Virginia. It will provide assistance
that enables local agencies to move forward to develop a working knowledge of concepts and
language of outcome-based report to use tools such as scales and ladders. |
