The Office of Community Services supports a wide variety of efforts that can help local agencies increase their capacity to implement ROMA. The following resources might be of interest to you: This is a management skills development program for the top leadership teams of community action agencies. The Academy's goal is to develop core management competencies in your agency's top level managers. Your team will come away from the Academy experience not only with a common knowledge base; it will also be a stronger, more cohesive, unit, better prepared and more committed to leading your agency together into an exciting future.The Academy engages teams in a comprehensive series of four hands-on, interactive learning experiences, in which participants develop specific plans to strengthen their agencies. For more information contact: Mid-Iowa Community Action The ROMA Clearinghouse at NASCSP The ROMA Clearinghouse at NASCSP collects and shares information among states and local agencies on ROMA implementation challenges and successes, training opportunities, and available resources for technical assistance. The ROMA Clearinghouse can help you design and carry out basic or advanced ROMA training tailored to your particular needs and situationThe ROMA Clearinghouse at NASCSP We are pleased to announce applications are being accepted for our third year of the third National Peer -to-Peer ROMA Training Program (NPtP). The Community Action Association of Pennsylvania (CAAP), with support from the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Community Services, will be presenting this Training Program. This project is designed to support your efforts to adopt, build and support ROMA capacity in the Community Action Network. The immediate product of the program will be trained Community Action personnel who are competent and committed to providing ROMA training and assistance to their peers in the CSBG/CAA network.
